The Call to Harvest: Embracing and Reaching Out to the Lost Generation
Many have despaired the state of faith in our culture today, specifically among Gen Z & millennials. In Matthew 9:35-38, Jesus saw crowds of people who were as lost and helpless as our generation.
Scripture says He was filled with compassion for them, and instructed His disciples to pray that the Lord of the harvest would send workers into the field. Jesus doesn’t see a lost people as something to be abandoned, but as something to be apprehended.
Let us take up the call to harvest and pray that God will send more workers to reach out to the lost generation with compassion, love, and hope. Together, we can make a difference and lead them back to faith in Jesus Christ.
